He was predeceased by: his father Gary Graham Vardy. He is survived by: his mother Elaine; his brothers, Gary (Lorella) and Greg (Denise); his nieces and nephews, Cole, Luke, Raine, Brooke, Reese, Nicholas and Matthew; and his aunts, Annette Lange (Volker) and Jackie Vardy.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in Peter's memory may be made to the Newfoundland & Labrador Down Syndrome Society or the Special Olympics (Western division of Newfoundland and Labrador) in lieu of flowers.
