She was predeceased by: her husband John Matthews; her siblings, Pleaman, Roger, Stafford, Gord, Jeanette and Maisie; her sons-in-law, Gerald Rees and Roy Hoskins; and her parents, Frederick Roberts and Pearl Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Thistle (Paul), Bernetta Hoskins, Pauline Rees and Melvin Matthews (Betty); her sister Ivy Edgecombe; and her grandchildren, Kelli, Aaron, Scott, Kim, Stacey, Dayna, Sandy, Richard, Barbara Ann, John and Arlene.
