He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella and Samuel; and his brothers, Eric, Kenneth and Samuel.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, David (Marilyn) and Jackie (Carson); his grandsons, Michael (Mandy), Joshua (Andrea) and Jeffrey (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Blake, Cohen, Kendyl, Caroline and Jacob; his siblings, Sarah and Edwin (Ruby); and his brother-in-law Jack (Judy).
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bay St George Sick Children Foundation or the Southwest Coast SPCA.
