It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Paulene Samms (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on February 1, 2022, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Montford Knee; her brother Sheldon Knee; her grandparents, Andrew, Myrtle Burt, Betty and Alex Knee; and her uncles, Tom Burt, Ross Knee and Alex Knee.

She is survived by: her husband Bernard Samms; her mother Elizabeth Knee (Frank Aucoin); her siblings, Andrea Peckford (Steve) and Christopher Knee (Linda Tavares); and her sister-in-law Shirley Prosper (Peter McIntosh). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Thursday from 2-4 p. m. to a maximum of 20 people at one time, Vaccine Passports, ID and face masks required for entry.
