With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Minnie Brake of Corner Brook, Newfoundland, who passed away on October 28, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Maitland; her parents, Robert Buffett and Martha Buffett; her stepfather Garfield Bursey; her parents-in-law, Robert and Ada Brake; her daughter-in-law Lucretia; and her siblings-in-law, Bryant (Hannah), Elliott (Alma), Algon (Geneva), Scott (Florence) and Elizabeth Payne (George).
She is survived by: her children, Betty (Archie), Bob of Gillams and Walter of Gillams; her pet Molly; her grandchildren, Tina (Clarence), Michael (Brittany), Gregory (Toni-Lee), Andrew (Leah), Laura (Paul), Kirk (Pam) and Jenny (Pierre); her great grandchildren, Marissa, Kiersten, Katie, Abigail, Aiden, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Riley, Lauren, Luke, James, Kevin, Rebecca and Reece; and also, Chantille and Deborah. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
