She was predeceased by: her former husband Alphonse; her parents, Hedley Wilton and Elizabeth Wilton; her brothers, William Wilton (Betty) and Robert Wilton (Amy); her parents-in-law, Gwen (Butt) and Bert Penney; and her siblings-in-law, Ramona Woolridge (Ray), Ulah Wilton, Bob Pretty and Ted Trenchard.
She is survived by: her husband Phonse; her children, Sharon (Graham Penney), Alphonse Jr., Greg (Lisa Wells) and Bert (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Erin (Peter Walker), Kristen (Matthew Strong), Robyn (Kyle McGivery), Jordan (Abby Poole), Aisha (Jordan Kennedy), R. J., Jamie (Taylor Ryan), Tyler and Jeremy; her great grandchildren, Jasper, Jensen, Nora, Ellen, Gwen and Rylie; her siblings, Claude Wilton (Helen Madore), Winnifred Pretty and Georgina Trenchard; and her sister-in-law Kay Wilton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Mima's memory to the Western Regional Hospital Foundation-Palliative Care Unit.
