It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Walsh of Corner Brook, Newfoundland, who passed away on July 28, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Walsh and Julia Ann Walsh; and his siblings, Patrick, Jerome (Daisy), Jack, Iona Carew (Milfred), Gertrude Parsons (Wilfred) and Barbara Hynes (Neil).
He is survived by: his wife Mildred; his children, Terry (Arne), Randy (Carla), Jocelyn (John), Michael Jr. (Trudy), Beverly (Kenny), Robert (Barbara) and Rick (Marie); his grandchildren, Jessica (Steve), Jeffrey, Jonathan, Emily, Maria, Laura, Matt and Ellie; his great grandchildren, Madison, Cameron, Rowan and Moria; his sisters, Sadie Carew, Mary Walsh Schultz, Marie Hynes (Wayne), Linda Hutchings and Patsy Decker; and his sisters-in-law, Patrica Walsh, Rose Marie Walsh, Sarah Kelland and Lydia Coates. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dialysis Unit at Western Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook.
