It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Elwood Woodman Sr. (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Lydia; his brothers, Reg, Walter, Arthur, Harry and Derek; and his brother-in-law Richard Williamson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Melvin Jr. (Beverly), Shawn (Rita) and Lloyd (Barb); his grandchildren, Nichole, Amanda (James), Shauna (Cody), Mark (Shantel), Robyn (Justin) and Tyler (Caitlin); his great grandchildren, Chloe and Ethan; his siblings, Clarence Woodman (Rita), Neta Williamson and Brenda Gordon; and his sisters-in-law, Jean, Patsy Woodman, Maureen Woodman and Joanne Woodman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Melvin's memory to a charity of one's choice.
