Melita Dorothy Higgins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2023, at the age of 90, Melita Dorothy Higgins (Corner Brook, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Spurrell; her former husband John Higgins; her parents, George Brown and Margaret Brown; her siblings, John Brown, Jim Brown, Fred Brown, Ben Eastman, Maisie Lane, Gladys Neal and Eva Burton; her grandson Rodney Spurrell; and her daughter-in-law Lillian Spurrell.
She is survived by: her children, Tony (Daphne), Sterling (Sharon), Randy (Susan), Roy (Lily), Karen (Glenn) and Lisa (Max); her stepson Robert Higgins (B. B.); and her sister Violet Pardy. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
