We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2021, at the age of 38, Matthew Kenneth James Gabriel (Corner Brook, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jim, Mona Taylor, Edmund and Verna Gabriel; his father-in-law Wayne Lundrigan; and his cousin Adam Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer (Lundrigan); his son Brayden; his parents, Kenneth Gabriel and Pauline Gabriel; his brother David (Jennifer); his niece Sarah; his mother-in-law Barbara Lundrigan; his sister-in-law Robin Lundrigan (Adam Morgan); and his aunts and uncles, Bill Taylor (Karen), Debbie White (Bruce), Maureen Doody (Dave), Jim Taylor (Michelle), Steve Taylor (Connie) and Valerie Brett (Melvin). He is also survived by many cousins, friends and extended family.
Visitation will take place at Fillatre's Funeral Home 218 Curling Street Friday from 2-4 pm, hosting a maximum of 30 people at a time in compliance with Covid-19 regulations, masks are recommended. Due to Covid- 19 restrictions a private by invitation only.
As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to NICU Janeway Hospital, St. John's.
