She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Patrick Brake; her daughter Denise; and her half-brothers, Michael and David. She is survived by: her family, Denis (Susan), Ann Marie (Brian), Gerard, Michael, Padraic, Stephan and Stephanie (Clyde); her grandchildren, Michael (Vicki), Jennifer, Brian Roy, Richard, Denis (Rebecca) and Adam; her sister Vera Dingman; her half-brothers, Ambrose, Kenny and Gregory; and also Chloe.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Country Haven Funeral Home (167 Country Rd, Corner Brook, NL A2H4M5). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Parish (469 Curling St, Corner Brook, NL A2H3K8). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mount Patricia Cemetery North Shore (42 N Shore Hwy, Corner Brook, NL A2H6G1).
