Mary Irene Gardner Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2021, at the age of 94, Mary Irene Gardner (Corner Brook, Newfoundland) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Irene Gardner to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband George; her children, Randy and Linda; and her parents, Frances Kearley and Walter Kearley.

She is survived by: her children, Daphne Preston (Brian), Brad (Daphne) and Massey Drive; her grandchildren, Scott (Kim), Jeff (Cynthia), Paul Preston (Melissa), Kevin (Crystal) and Jenna Gardner (Nigel); her great grandchildren, Katie, Jessica, Madison, Isabella, Reid, Juliette and Olivia; her sisters, Fran Tavener and Nellie Snow; and her sisters-in-law, Blanche Cooper and Shirley Kearley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends including very special friends.

Because of recent NL Government COVID restrictions, a private family interment will take place at Mount Patricia with Rev. Ed King officiating. A celebration of life may be planned at a later date as COVID restrictions allow.
