With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Agnes Quilty (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jack" Willcott and Laura Willcott; her parents-in-law, Arthur and Julia Quilty; and her sons-in-law, Charles Bachman and Christopher Webster.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence; her daughters, Julia Bachman of Hampton, NB and Andrea Webster of Halifax, NS; her grandchildren, William and Lorelei Webster; her siblings, Michael Willcott of St. Alban's, NL, Albert Willcott of St. Alban's, NL, Genevieve Howse (Cyril) of Grand Bank, NL, Bridget Engram of Goose Bay, NL, Ann Cornish (James) of St. Alban's, NL, Andrew Willcott (Andrea) of Winnipeg, MB, Alice Howse (Fred) of St. Alban's, NL and Fabian Willcott of Ottawa, ON; and her brothers-in-law, Bernard Quilty (Theresa) of St. Alban's, NL and Leo Quilty (Nancy) of New Waterford, NS. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (5 Steel Mountain Rd, Saint George's, NL A0N1Z0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Ignatius Parish (14 Church St, St Alban's, NL A0H2E0).
