Marion Verna Ruth Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marion Verna Ruth (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 11, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Ruth; her parents, Maxwell Taylor and Harriett Taylor; her siblings, Gwen, Lillian, Will (Bride) and Howard (Bernice); her siblings-in-law, Margie, Howard and Wallace; her great-nephew Ryan Lundrigan; and also William Lundrigan.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Strickland and Paul Ruth (Maggie); her grandchildren, Jennifer Strickland (Dean) and Jonathan Strickland (Samantha); her great grandchildren, David, Jordan, Cameron, Landon, Levi and Lane; her brothers, Don and Jack (Barbara); her sisters-in-law, Lydia Ruth and Blanche Ruth; and her niece Jackie Lundrigan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Marion's memory to the Alzheimer's Society, or a charity of one's choice.
