She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Strickland and Ann Strickland; her siblings, Sylvia (Isaac), Sheila (Johnny), Marie, Ernie, Reggie and Iris; and her nephew Todd.

She is survived by: her husband Avery; her children, Monty (Heather) and Joanne (Glen); her grandchildren, Jillian and Grant; her in-laws, Allison (Patricia), Gordon (Rose), Sharon (Leo), Danny (Elizabeth) and Kate (Owen); her close friends, Audrey, Ross, Anne and Vida; her in-laws, Shirley (William), Sylvia (Spencer), Duncan and Jocelyn; and also, Pius, Phyllis and Derm.

As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation or Daffodil Place.
