He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Sheppard and Hazel; his wife Una; his children, Lorraine (Reg) and Christopher (Mary); his grandchildren, Aiden and Benjamin; his siblings, Jim (Martha), Kate, Wilfred (Ruth), Clifford (Doreen), Sadie (John) and Elaine (Glen); and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Roberts (Ken) and Clarence Flynn. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations in memory of Lloyd Sheppard may be made to the Parkinson's Society.
