Lester Thomas Hickey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester Thomas Hickey (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on July 29, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Shawn; his siblings, Bill, Howard, Cyril and Philomena Abbott; and his parents, William Hickey and Clara Hickey.

He is survived by: his wife Loretta; his daughter Lorelei Hickey (Kenneth Companion); his grandchildren, Lynnette Hurley (Jason), Matthew Barnes and Jesse Hickey (Madison Hackett); his great grandchildren, Bryce Hurley, Ethan Hurley, Jack Hurley and Theo Hurley; and his siblings, Hilda Donahue (Andrew), Rose O'Connell (Pat), Carolyn Lodge (Blair), Lloyd Hickey (Grace), Christopher Hickey (Connie), Brian Hickey and Clayton Hickey (Julie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish.
