She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gillam and Violet Gillam (McKay); her husband Tom; her daughter Marie; her siblings, Claudine and Kenneth; and her parents-in-law, Philip and Jessie Matchem (Spencer).

She is survived by: her son Eric; her children-in-law, Chrissy and Wilson Major; her grandchildren, Terra Fehrman (Stuart), Bradley Major (Laurie), Crystal Major (Desmond), Glen Matchem (Ashley) and Michael Matchem (Holly); her great grandchildren, Desirae, Madison, Avery, Addison, Jordyn, Morgan and Frank; her siblings, Michael (Doreen) and Doreen (Don); and her siblings-in-law, Hil and Clare.
