She was predeceased by: her parents, Harriet Ricks and Alexander Francis; her husband Horwood Darius Normore (Roy); her sister Jean Saunders; her grandsons, Nathan Brake and Shaun Brake; and her great-niece Danielle Easton.
She is survived by: her children, Bertha "Bobbie" Brake (Peter) and Keith Normore (Mercy Trecene); her grandchildren, Aaron Brake and Destine Brake; and her siblings, Mary Bailey (Gerald), Rachel Ricks, Priscella Regular, Albert Thomas (Shirley) and Emily Regular (Seavey). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be graciously accepted, or donations may be made in Joyce's memory to the Western Long Term Care Home through the Western Regional Hospital Foundation.
