John William Scanlon Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2024, at the age of 77, John William Scanlon (Corner Brook, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Scanlon and Frances Scanlon; his sisters, Beatrice Patey and Betty Howe; his sister-in-law Geraldine Scanlon; his brothers, Eymard Scanlon, Donald Scanlon and Darius Scanlon; and his brothers-in-law, Cecil Howe, Cecil Caines and Melvin Patey.

He is survived by: his siblings, Maureen Rumbolt (Ivan), Janet Scanlon (Darren) and Patrick Scanlon (Jane); and his sisters-in-law, Ellen Scanlon, Bridgette Scanlon and Ellen Tatchell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
