John Milton Caines Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Milton Caines (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on February 6, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Alberta (Holly); his parents, John Thomas Caines and Alice Caines (Hatcher); his children, Tommy, John and Joan; his siblings, Bryant (Betty), Annie (Bill) and Edna (Jack); his children-in-law, Calvin, Joslyn and Peggy; and his great grandchild Jack Baldwin.
He is survived by: his children, Randy (Ruth), Wayne (Karen), Jim (Laura), Kevin (Brenda), Jocelyn (Kevin), Debbie (John), Dianne (Douglas) and Annette (Ralph); and his grandchildren, Norman, Lori, Dwayne, Jeffrey, Jason, Jana-Lynn, Craig, Nicole, Stephen, Danielle, Adam, Kirk, Wesley, Phillip, Darcy Lynn, Donnie, Christa and Nichola. He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren and a large circle of extended family and friends.
In light of John's love for animals, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to the NL West SPCA ([email protected]).
