With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jessie Daphne Vokey (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 8, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alexander Vokey; and her parents, Alfred Pippy and Sarah Pippy. She is survived by: her children, Roy (Linda), Fred, Henry (Aurora), Gerald (Sandra), Joe (Margie), Darren (Jannie), Ivy Sparkes (Howard) and Emma Whyatt (Glen); and her sisters, Lucy Miller and Rachel Clark. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren: 1 great-great-grandchild.
As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Jessie's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of one's choice.
