He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Connell and Kathleen O'Connell. He is survived by: his wife Shirley O'Connell (Compagnion); his children, Kim Phillips (Gerry), Jamie O'Connell (Chrissie), Lisa O'Connell and Monica Scribner; his niece Stephanie Gallant (Ryan); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Carter, Tyrell, Patricia, Stephen, Foster and Emily; his great grandchildren, Carson and Abigail; his siblings, Bernetta Critch, Maxine Wayson, Anita Lewis (Danny), Martin O'Connell and Caroline Jones (Gus); his siblings-in-law, Guy Compagnion, Wayne Compagnion (Kathleen), Derrick Compagnion, Kerry Compagnion (Trina), Coreen MacInnis, Judy Clarke (George), Joyce Compagnion and Sandra O'Connell; his siblings, William, Phonse O'Connell (Rita), Loren O'Connell, Mike O'Connell (Mame) and Catherine; his parents-in-law, Ralph and Sadie Compagnion; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Wayson, Ken Compagnion and Gerry MacInnis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
