It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Thomas Winters (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on July 11, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Susan; his son Alfred; his mother Polly; and his brothers, Bertie, Herman and Max.
He is survived by: his children, Rhoda (Garvin), Ellen (Mark), Jim (Elizabeth), Dave (Lori), Bill, Mike (Denise), Shawn (Kelley), Ken (Tracey), Alfie (Cheryl), Todd (Kelly) and Keith (Aimee); his grandchildren, Alexis, Bryan, Dayna, Emily, Hilary, Kelcie, Riley, James, Jayden, Katlyn, Abby, Maddy, Braden, Matthew, Ben, Adam, Jackson and Morgan; his great grandchildren, Reagan, Isaac, Simon and Henry; and his siblings, Alfred (Sonny), Ed, Katie, Effie and Mary Ann. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Due to COVID 19 regulations there will be a private visitation at Fillatres Funeral Home July 13, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9.
