It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Martin Hynes (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Hynes and Pearl Hynes (Carter); his siblings, Stella Ludee (Hynes) and Robert Hynes (Bob); and his stepbrother Max Carter.
He is survived by: his children, Dale (Terry) of Ontario and Kimberly of Calgary; his grandchildren, Andrew, Tony, Zackery, Dillan and Terra; his siblings, Joe (Marie), Jerry (Valerie) of North Sydney and Judy of St. John's; and his close friend Linda O'Quinn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Martin's memory to a charity of one's choice.
