Irene Elizabeth Stratton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 17, 2024, at the age of 70, Irene Elizabeth Stratton of Corner Brook, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Stratton; her parents, Pierce and Sarah; her siblings, Mildred McConnel (Patrick), Gertrude Noseworthy (Chesley) and Wayne Brake (Joanne); and her sister-in-law Daphne Brake (Edward).
She is survived by: her boyfriend Walter Sheppard; her daughters, Patricia Parker (Steve) and Amanda George (Neil); her stepchildren, Jeremy Sheppard (Anne Marie Lapierre) and Cori Lynn Sheppard; her grandchildren, Michael and Kallie; her stepgrandchildren, Brody and Tristen; and her siblings, Edward Brake, Tom Brake (Vicky), Esther Byrne (Tony), Kathleen Smith (Neil) and Rose Mcnaughtn. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Country Haven Funeral Home (167 Country Rd, Corner Brook, NL A2H 4M5). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (469 Curling St, Corner Brook, NL A2H3K8). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Mount Patricia Cemetery North Shore (42 N Shore Hwy, Corner Brook, NL A2H6G1).
