He was predeceased by: his wife Gwendolyn; his son Wayne; his daughter-in-law Christine; his parents, James Hicks and Tryphenia Hicks; his parents-in-law, William and Violet Sceviour; and his siblings, Heber (Betty), Phillip, Joseph (Bride), George, Gladys (Leslie) and Helen.
He is survived by: his children, Marilyn White (Roy), Larry Hicks (Paula) and Katherine Pye (Todd); his grandchildren, Joey Hicks, Dr. Tracy Hicks (Cory Cowan), Angela Hicks (Jon), Wayne Hicks (Hillary), Steven White (Jessica), MCpl Ashley Pye, Christopher Hicks, Jennifer Morrissey (Mark), Adam Hicks (Ashley), Sarah Park (Adam), Eric Pye (Brittany) and Kelsey Pye; his great grandchildren, Brody, William, Emma, Lucas, Charlotte, Addison, Joshua, Madison, Henry, Mackenzie and Benjamin; his sister-in-law Leila; and his friend Art Hull. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
