He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Hobart and Vaughnita Tanner; his sisters, Margaret (Midge) and Violet; his brothers-in-law, Joseph Suspinski, Elmer Mosser, Paul Crane, Garry White (Sylvia) and Gerald Fennemore (Carol); and his parents-in-law, Emmanuel and Elizabeth White (Betty).
He is survived by: his sisters, Rosalie Heffner, Bertha Crane and Thelma Mosser; his siblings-in-law, Godfrey White, David White, Carol Fennemore and June White; his wife Gloria Tanner of Corner Brook, NL; his children, Michael Tanner (Michelle), Kimberly A. Tanner of Corner Brook and Ashley E. Tanner of Fredericton, NB; his grandchildren, Matthew (Holly), Brandon (Robin), Lindsey and Carly; and his great grandchildren, Jada, Jonah, Noah, William and Aaliyah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
