He was predeceased by: his former wife Dorothy; his wife Jennie; his parents, Curtis Hynes and Gertrude Hynes; and his siblings, Muriel, Ruby and George.

He is survived by: his children, David Hynes (Surong), Patricia Jones (Wayne), Wendy Taite (Keith) and Kim Boutcher (Jeff); his grandchildren, Mark (Beth), Neil (Tara), Michael, Karen, Natasha, Justin, Joanne (Chase), Brent (Jessica) and Devin (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Caden, Maicy, Carys, Benjamin and Emmett; and his sister Annie Griffin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations in memory of Harry can be made to Curling Memorial United Church Fund.
