Hazel Butler Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2021, at the age of 91, Hazel Butler (Corner Brook, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Paul and Charlotte Allen (Paul); her brother-in-law Burt Jordan; her stepfather Alex Allen; her parents-in-law, Leslie and Grace Butler; and her siblings-in-law, John Butler (Lenora), Ted Butler (Lillian), Llewelyn Butler and Barbara Gilbert (Lew).

She is survived by: her husband Wallace; her daughter Ina Saunders (Butler); her brothers, Harvey Paul, Lewis Paul (Bride), Burt Paul (Kitty), Frank Paul, John and Clarence Paul; her children, Harvey Butler (Gail), Gary Butler (Elaine) and Yvette Ransier (Stephen); her grandchildren, Tara Butler (Dion Coish), Erin Butler (Darryl Thompson), Cory Saunders (Lindsey), Craig Saunders (Kelly), Shelley Saunders (Andy Noble), Jennifer Wight (Corey), Jayme Lee Butler, Shawn Rideout (Claire) and Jeffrey Rideout (Jenna Murphy); her great grandchildren, Meghan, Norah Coish, Xavier, Rogue Saunders, Addison, Ethan, Jack, Luke Saunders, Evelyn, Archer Wight, Kian Butler and Sloane Rideout; her sister Alice Jorden (Paul); and her sister-in-law Regina Paul. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Covid 19 Government Regulations, there will be a private family funeral service on Monday, January 18th from Fillatre's Funeral Home, St. Marks Avenue with Rev. David Russell officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA.
