He was predeceased by: his wife Ivy; his sons, George and William (Bill); his son-in-law David Pinkney; his parents, George and Lucy; his stepfather Simeon White; his parents-in-law, George and Margaret; and his siblings, Noble Parsons (Valsie), Ruby Barnes (Jim), Rosie Parsons (Don) and Mary Brake (Val).
He is survived by: his children, Bertha Harris (Sterling), Margaret Pinkney (Wade), Louise Sheppard (Larry), Henry Parsons (Penny), Rosie Parsons (Chris) and Bonnie Parsons (Adam); his daughter-in-law Ann Parsons; his granddaughters, Victoria (Kemoy), Brooke (George) and Amanda (Harry); his sister Daisy; and his sister-in-law Sadie Butler. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be graciously accepted or a memorial donation in Harvey's name to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
