He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice; his son Roderick; his parents, Ernest and Margaret; and his siblings, Howard, Charlie, Jared, Arthur, Aloysius, Godrey, Jean, Margaret, Yvonne, Anastasia and Adella.
He is survived by: his children, Corrie (Nancy), Martenia, Roxann (Jamie), Caroline (Stephen) and Ramona; his stepdaughter Olive; his grandchildren, Kaden, Chase, Breanna, Lauren, Joshua, Cindy, Heather, Sheena, Stacy-Lee, Margaret, Jonathan and Dorian; his great grandchildren, Logan, Ryan, Freya, Lily, Liam, Tanner, Cylus, Lincoln, Bradley, Emily and Jordan; and his siblings, Austin, Ernie, Nelson and Bernadette. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, special cabin buddies, other relatives and many friends.
Following COVID 19 Government restrictions, there will be a private family visitation on Thursday from Fillatre's Funeral Home, Curling followed by a private Funeral Service on Friday, January 15th from Our Lady Star of the Sea, Benoits Cove with interment to follow at the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
