We are sad to announce that on March 15, 2021, at the age of 72, Gilbert Patrick Hamlyn (Corner Brook, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanch Hamlyn and Albert Hamlyn; his brother Lawerence Hamlyn; his parents-in-law, Maud Dobbin and Joseph Dobbin; and his brothers, Tommy Dobbin, James Dobbin, Clifford Dobbin and Delbert Mailman (Marthia Dobbin).
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Rick (Terrilynn) and Novelee (Gabriel); his grandchildren, Ethan, Paige, Cole and Carter; his siblings, Gary Hamlyn, Tom Hamlyn (Cynthia), Karen White (John), George Hamlyn (Donna) and Nancy Crtichley (Eric); and his sister-in-law Gladys Hamlyn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews' other relatives and friends.
Due to Government Covid -19 restrictions a private Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at St. Theresa's Church in Port.
As expressions memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
