He was predeceased by: his mother Jane Allen; his grandparents, Clara, William Stevens, Elijah and Eileen Allen; his uncle Charlie; his brother Danny; and his stepmother Jean Allen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vanessa (Brian) and Samantha; the mother of his children Beverley Sheppard; his grandchildren, Shakira and Kingston; his father Reginald; and his brothers, Todd, Tony (Carleen) and Philip (Sabrina). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made in Gerard's memory to a charity of one's choice.
