We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2025, at the age of 86, Gerald William Humber (Corner Brook, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Humber and Mariam Humber; his siblings, Reginald, Harold, Cyril, Donald, Ronald, Dorothy, Melissa, Ivy, Roseanna, Ella and Elsie; his parents-in-law, Robert and Marjorie Baker; and his siblings-in-law, Edward, Moses, Alma, May, Susie and Linda.
He is survived by: his wife Robina; his children, Brenda (David Hickey) and Darren Humber (Theresa); his grandchildren, Deanna, Stephen Hickey and Gerry Humber; his great grandchildren, Katie, Jaydan, Kalan, Shae Lynn and Faith; and his siblings-in-law, Franklin (Clayton), Violet, Myrtle, Anne, Dulcie, Ruth and Sandra. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fillatre's Funeral Home (218 Curling St, Corner Brook, NL A2H3J4). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Ambrose Anglican Church.
As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
