He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta Smith Hutchings; his parents, Azariah Hutchings and Annie Hutchings; his parents-in-law, James and Marjorie Crocker; his sisters, Fanny Yetman (Ron), Barbara Hutchings and Catherine Butt (Len); and his son-in-law Peter Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Kelly (Mark), Deana Thompson, Jerry Hutchings (Marlene), David Hutchings (Gale) and Cathie Reid (Jim); his grandchildren, Blair, Krista, Ryan, Jodi, Adam, Joshua, Nia, Shane, Ian and Adrienne; his great grandchildren, Corbin, Samuel, Adelyn, Jack, Natalie, Dominic, Raiden, Madison, Colin, Austin, Maddison Roberta, Liam and Paige; and his brother Albert Hutchings. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
As expression of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead donations can be made in Gerald's memory to the Children's Wish Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
