He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine Marie Downey; his parents, Alexander Downey and Margret Downey; and his siblings, Rita, Maude, Bride, Marie, Helena, Frank, Richard, Albert, Walter and Vincent.
He is survived by: his children, Mary (David), Sheila (Dwayne), Jerome (Minnie) and Glen (Jackie); his grandchildren, Jessie, Shelby and Mitchell; his brother John Downey; and his friend Signa. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
