It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Frederick Buckle in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father George Buckle Sr.; his siblings, Christina and Michael; his parents-in-law, Jack and Marcheta Dunphy; and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Griffin, Darlene Dunphy and Rod Oxford.
He is survived by: his mother Isabel Buckle; his wife Karen (Dunphy); his children, Jason (Brigitte), Jennifer (Peter) and Heather (David); his grandchildren, Jayde, Connor, Declan, Isaac, Aiden, Lilly and Sarah; his siblings, Catherine Bennett (Tom), David Buckle (Mary), Brian Buckle (Gaylene), Donna Mitchell (Hal), Dianne Oxford, Patrick Buckle, John Buckle (Marleen MacDonald), Michelle Humber (Ben), Marylou Buckle (Ruby Gosse) and Darlene Buckle; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Buckle; and his parents-in-law, Bill Griffin, Anita King, Tim Dunphy (Michelle), David Dunphy (Muriel) and Sandy Caines (Gordie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
