She is survived by: her husband Jason Matthews; her children, Brittany Matthews (Shane Tuinder), Ryan Matthews (Shantal House) and Nukumij; her grandchild Mathieson Tuinder; her siblings, Wanda Penney (Rick), Floyd Brake (Rona) and Janice Brake (Karl); her mother-in-law Eliza Matthews; her siblings-in-law, Sonia Carew (Jim), Jocelyn Vey (Jim) and Cynthia Matthews; and her nieces and nephews, Laurie Penney (Roger MacIinnis), Andrew Penney (Janna Brake), Scott Brake (Kayla), Nathan Brake (Adrianna Saunders), Travis Brake, Evan Brake, Jennifer Brake (Gerard), Blair Matthews, Kelly (Danny Piercey), Sueanne Carew (Dave Burke), Jimmy Carew, Jacqueline Trecartin, Shauna Simon (David McEachren), Lawrence Rose, Alicia Vey (Carter Button), Tyler Vey (Amy Bastow), Daisy MacInnis, Maggie Brake, Hunter Brake, Kinsley, Hudson Brake, Curtis Piercey, Hailey Carew (Curtis McGrath), Hunter Carew, Megan Simon, Sydney, Kyle Brake and Olivia Smith.
