She was predeceased by: her husband Selby; her parents, William Hancock and Annie Hancock; her brothers, Captain William (Daisy) and Victor; her sister-in-law Olive Hancock; her niece Elaine Pitcher; and her nephew Allan Hancock.
She is survived by: her children, Keith and Rosalind Smyth (John); her granddaughter Rebecca Smyth (Piers Evans); her great grandchild Felix Evans; her sister-in-law Joan Holloway; and her niece Daphne Gibson (Terry). She is also survived by loving nieces, and nephews; and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to a charity of one's choice.
