He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Hynes; his parents, Hector Hynes and Ethel Hynes; his siblings, Jean Whitten (Ken) and Carl Hynes; and his parents-in-law, Charles and Charlotte Davis.
He is survived by: his daughter Connie (Jim Keough); his siblings, Stella Park (late Max), Beverley Smith (Jerry) and Hector Hynes Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Maureen Davis, Joan Whelan (Gerry), Cathy Herbert (Peter), Alberta and Jerome Davis (Charmayne). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home Wednesday 3-5 p. m. & 7-9 p. m. to a maximum of 20 people in the building at one time in compliance with Covid-19 Government regulations, face masks and physical distancing required. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 13 at 2:00 p. m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Tanya White officiating to a maximum of 100 people, face masks and physical distancing required.
