Elsie Elizabeth Chubbs Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Elizabeth Chubbs (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on November 5, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rumbolt and Mary Rumbolt of Mary's Harbour; her parents-in-law, James and Gertrude Chubbs; her siblings, John Rumbolt, Pearl Edison and Gerald Rumbolt; and her siblings-in-law, Cecil Edison, William Rahal and Florrie Chubbs.
She is survived by: her husband Cyril; her children, Jeffrey Rumbolt (Sandra), Lucy (Doug Warren), Marilyn (Reg Hutchings), Todd (Beverly) and Peggy (Bill Penney); her grandchildren, Christie (Matthew), Sara (Tristan), Michael (Andreana), Lori (Russell), Niki (Patrick), Julie (Patrick), Jamie (Dallas), Mckenzie, Luke and Logan; her great grandchildren, Lily-Mai, Finn, Nate, Kaiden, Rachel and Theo; her siblings, Harvey (Doretha) and Edith; and her brothers-in-law, Warrick Chubbs (Elaine) and Graham Chubbs. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Elsie also made a significant contribution to her community, which included extensive participation in the Anglican Church Women (ACW).
