Ellie Whiteway Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellie Whiteway (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Muriel Whiteway; her brothers, James Junior and Charles; her uncle Eric; and her nephews, Jonathan and Christopher.

She is survived by: her father James "Pop" Whiteway; her siblings, Bernice King (Brian), Gloria LaSaga (David) and John Whiteway; her sons, Shawn, Gerald (Cindy) and Manfred; her grandchildren, Breanna (Ryan), Brittany (Jamie), MacKenzie (Josh), Sydney (Nikolaus), Jeremy, Jonah and Jared; her great grandchild Silas; and her close friends, Mary Loder and Drusilla Hawkins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
