He was predeceased by: his wife Paula Porter; his parents, Egbert Porter and Verena Porter; his brother Keith Porter; his parents-in-law, Jerry and Phyllis Holmans; and his brother-in-law Bud Holmans.
He is survived by: his children, Yana Porter (George Byrne) and Dean Porter (Jennifer Watton); his grandchildren, Brooke and Jack Watton; his siblings, Glynn Porter (Carol), Ruth Dyke (John) and Judy Drover (Rick); and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Porter and Debbie Holmans. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
