We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2020, Earl R. Murphy (Corner Brook, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Laura; his children, Trudy, John and Rick Loder; his parents, Roby Murphy and Gladys Murphy; his parents-in-law, John and Ann Hann; and his siblings, John, Jim Murphy, Violet Wheeler, Gladys Sheppard and Nina Ruth.
He is survived by: his children, Vivian Loder (Terry) and Todd (Julia); his grandchildren, Stacey Lynn Christopher (Fred), Mallory Loder (Dave), Bruce Murphy, Brandon Murphy (Tara), Chad Murphy and Mary Loder; his great grandchildren, Wesley Christopher, Chloe, Emily Murphy, Jaxson Murphy, Annie and Eli Ashley; his sisters, Ruby Harrison and Lottie Janes (Randy); and his sisters-in-law, Nora Cheeseman and Annie Christianson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to COVID-19 Government Restrictions, there will be a private family service from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Summerside, officiated by Reverend Kay Osmond, Rev. Deacon's Terry Loder and Karen Loder, followed by the interment at the family plot.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke foundation or St. Paul's Anglican Church Memorial fund.
