It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl George Rose of Corner Brook, Newfoundland, who passed away on September 26, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Clara Rose; and his parents, Frank Rose and Mary Rose. He is survived by: his children, Lillian, Dianne (Dave), Clarence (Bernice), Beverley (Mitchell), Sandra and Laura (Darrin); his grandchildren, Chris (Chantel), Jeff, Dawn (Scott), Mark (Kelsey), Sarah (Ryan), Amanda (Geoff), Jennifer and Erica (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Tatum, Austin, Noah, Klaira, Amelia, Keegan, Grayson, Jade, Blaine, Harley, Vivian, Lilah, Asa and Dawson; his siblings, Laura Bartlett, Eleanor Dawe (Ed), Brenda Lilly (John), Ronald Rose (Verna), Don Crann and Hans Kavli (Cynthia Rose); his daughter-in-law Rosalind Rose; his siblings, Alfred Rose (Nellie), Elizabeth Traverse (Howard), Jean Sharpe (Art), Beulah Purchase (Fraser), Irene Crann, Rita Kavli, Gordon Rose (Marina), Herman Bartlett and David Rose; his in-laws, Frederick and Lillian Allen; his great grandchild Grayden Shelley; and his son-in-law Michael Brennan.
