It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Juanita Lilly (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on September 24, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Lilly; her parents, Blandford Porter and Rachel Porter (Hunt); her parents-in-law, Hayward and Ida Lilly (Butt); her siblings, Mundon Porter (Lola), Gordon Porter (Naomi), Mary Ellen Noseworthy, Roberta Hussey (John) and Barbara Young (James Young); and her brothers-in-law, William Hussey, Samuel, Chester, David, Ronald Lilly, Harold Saddler (Maime), Alan Hollett (Alice) and Oscar Krachling (Queena).
She is survived by: her son Donald Lilly (Tammy); her granddaughters, Rebecca and Alyssa Lilly; her sister Margaret Hussey; her siblings-in-law, Alex Noseworthy, Lucy (McLeod-Lilly-Temple) and Mildred (Snooks-Lilly-Sturgess); her nieces and nephews, Blake Young, Hayward Lilly, Yolanda Brake, Rachel Roberts and Lisa Lilly; and her close friends, Maxine Crossley and Barbara Clarke. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home 218 Curling Street Saturday from 7-9pm and Sunday from 2-4 pm to a maximum of 30 visitors at a time and masks are mandatory in compliance with Covid-19 regulations.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Diabetes foundation, http://www.diabetes.ca , Curling Lions or St. Mary's Church.
