We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2021, at the age of 87, Dorothy Helen Sidney (Corner Brook, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorman Porter and Francis Porter (John Sidney); her siblings, Barbra Young and Edgar Porter; and her siblings-in-law, Kevin Callahan, Kevin Farnell, Pierce Blackwood and Agnes Porter.

She is survived by: her son Dorman Porter (Catherine); her granddaughter Kristi Curnew (Jamie); her great grandchild Cameron Curnew; and her siblings, Marion Blackwood, Shirley Callahan, Elaine Farnell, Sheila Donnan (Harry), Dale Porter, Rosie Boonstra (Ralph), Greg Porter, Curtis Porter and Harold Porter (Margie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends.

Due to covid restrictions, there will be no formal service at this time.

As an expression of sympathy donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
