She is survived by: her son Stephen Parsons; her daughter-in-law Alice McCarthy of Halifax, NS; her sisters, Mona McAulay of Summerside, NL and Shirley Loder of Halifax, NS; and her grandchildren, Daniel and Rebecca of Halifax, NS. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Paul's Anglican Church, Summerside NL.
