She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Payne; her parents, John Normore and Ellen Normore of L'Anse-Au; her siblings, Isabella, Margaret, Dorothy, Gladys, Michael, Llewelyn, Thomas, Stanford, William, Claude, John and Gordon; her brother-in-law Edward Payne; and her grandson Michael Wilton.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon Payne (Walter Francis), Darlene Wilton (Allan), Lola Noel (David), Charlie Payne and Keith Payne (Sheena Francis); her grandchildren, Andriena Whynot (Ashley), Melanie Sugimoto (Clay Greenleaf), April Crocker (Sheldon), Mark Noel (Shayvonne Snook) and Charlie Payne (Jenna Pike); her great grandchildren, Mia, Aiden, Nixon, Rocky and Wesley; her sister Mary Barney; her sisters-in-law, Sarah Normore and Mary Macdonald; and her friend Patsy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
